The Montjuich, circuit, which hosted the Spanish Grand Prix four times between 1969 and 1975, is considered one of the best Formula One circuits of all time. | Autosport rated it among their ‘Ten Best Circuits of All Time’ in their 50th anniversary of Formula One issue. | Jackie Stewart won the first two races at this circuit, the most by any driver in its four-race F1 history. | The anti-clockwise nature of this circuit made setting up the cars correctly a challenge for teams and drivers. | In1975 Emerson Fittipaldi withdrew from the race because of its dangerous nature. | On lap 26 of the same race, Rolf Stommelen’s car went off the track and killed five people, after which a Formula One race was never held here again.

The Montjuich, circuit, which hosted the Spanish Grand Prix four times between 1969 and 1975, is considered one of the best Formula One circuits of all time.
Autosport rated it among their ‘Ten Best Circuits of All Time’ in their 50th anniversary of Formula One issue.
Jackie Stewart won the first two races at this circuit, the most by any driver in its four-race F1 history.
